Welcome to Kyoto98. These Terms and Conditions ("Agreement", "Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("Player", "User", "you") and Kyoto98 ("Platform", "we", "us", "our"), governing your access to and use of the Kyoto98 website located at https://kyoto98.cam and all associated services, products, and features offered thereon (collectively, the "Services").

By accessing the Kyoto98 platform, creating a player account, making a deposit, placing a bet, or otherwise using any part of the Services, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms in their entirety. If you do not agree with any provision of these Terms, you must immediately discontinue use of the platform.

Kyoto98 is an international online gaming platform operating under international licensing standards. The platform offers live casino games, slots, sports betting, lottery, and related gaming products to eligible players globally, including players in Malaysia. Players are solely responsible for determining whether online gambling is lawful in their jurisdiction prior to using the platform. For the purposes of these Terms, the following definitions shall apply:

To register an account with Kyoto98 and access any of the Services, you must satisfy all of the following eligibility requirements at all times:

This requirement applies to all players including those accessing the platform from Malaysia, where 21 is the recognised minimum age for casino-style gambling activity.

• You are acting on your own behalf and are not registering an account on behalf of any third party.
• You do not already hold an active or suspended Kyoto98 account. Only one account per person, household, device, IP address, or shared computer environment is permitted.
• You have not previously been excluded, suspended, or banned from the Kyoto98 platform or any affiliated platform.
• You are not an employee, director, contractor, or immediate family member of an employee or contractor of Kyoto98 or its affiliated service providers.
• You have the legal capacity to enter into a binding contract under the laws of your jurisdiction.

To create a Kyoto98 account, you are required to provide accurate, complete, and current information during the registration process, including but not limited to your full legal name, date of birth, email address, and contact number. You agree to keep this information updated at all times.

4.1 Identity Verification (KYC)

Kyoto98 operates a mandatory KYC verification programme in compliance with our international licensing obligations. All players are required to verify their identity before making a withdrawal. You may be required to submit one or more of the following documents:

• Government-issued photo identification (Malaysian MyKad, passport, or equivalent)
• Proof of address dated within the past three months (utility bill, bank statement, or equivalent)
• Proof of the payment method used for deposits (e.g., screenshot of GrabPay account, bank statement showing FPX transaction)
• Selfie with government-issued ID for identity confirmation, where required

4.2 Account Security

You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You agree to notify Kyoto98 immediately via live chat if you suspect any unauthorised access to your account. Kyoto98 shall not be liable for any loss resulting from unauthorised account access where you have failed to maintain adequate security over your login credentials.

4.3 One Account Policy

Each player is entitled to maintain only one registered account on the Kyoto98 platform. The creation of multiple accounts — whether using the same or different personal details — constitutes a material breach of these Terms and may result in the immediate suspension of all associated accounts and forfeiture of all balances therein.

By using the Kyoto98 platform, you agree to use the Services only for lawful purposes and in a manner consistent with these Terms, applicable law, and the standards of fair play expected of all platform members. You specifically agree to the following conditions:

• You will not use any automated tools, bots, scripts, or artificial intelligence systems to access or interact with the Platform or to gain any unfair advantage over other players or the Platform itself.
• You will not attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or otherwise extract the source code of any part of the Kyoto98 platform.
• You will not engage in any form of match-fixing, collusion, chip-dumping, or other fraudulent activity in relation to games or bets placed on the Platform.
• You will not use the Platform for any money laundering, financial fraud, or other illegal financial activity.
• You acknowledge that gambling outcomes are determined by random number generation (RNG) or real-world events, and that the outcome of any bet or game is not guaranteed.
• You will not conduct any activity that disrupts the normal operation of the Platform or its infrastructure, including distributed denial-of-service (DDoS) attacks or intentional server abuse.

Kyoto98 reserves the right to monitor player activity for compliance with these Terms, applicable law, and our responsible gambling obligations. Monitoring is conducted through automated systems and human review.

Kyoto98 accepts deposits from Malaysian players through a range of verified local payment methods, including GrabPay, Touch 'n Go eWallet, Boost, DuitNow, FPX (covering Maybank, CIMB, Public Bank, Hong Leong, and RHB), as well as cryptocurrency options including Bitcoin (BTC) and USDT.

6.1 Deposit Conditions

• The minimum deposit amount is RM 20 unless otherwise stated for a specific payment method or promotion.
• All deposits must be made from a payment method registered in your own name. Third-party deposits are strictly prohibited and will result in account suspension.
• Kyoto98 does not accept cash deposits under any circumstances.
• Deposits are subject to automated fraud screening and may be subject to additional verification where the system flags unusual activity.
• Kyoto98 does not charge processing fees on deposits; however, your payment provider may apply their own transaction charges, for which Kyoto98 accepts no liability.

6.2 Deposit Limits

Responsible gambling deposit limits can be set by the player at any time through the account settings or by contacting live support. Daily, weekly, and monthly deposit limits are available. Once a limit is set, it takes effect immediately for reductions and after a 24-hour cooling-off period for increases.

Kyoto98 is committed to processing player withdrawals promptly. Most e-wallet withdrawals via GrabPay and Touch 'n Go eWallet are processed within 5 minutes during normal operating conditions. DuitNow and FPX bank transfers are typically completed within 5 to 15 minutes. Direct bank wire transfers are processed within 15 to 60 minutes.

7.1 Withdrawal Conditions

• The minimum withdrawal amount is RM 50 unless otherwise specified.
• All withdrawals must be directed to a payment method registered in the player's own name and used for at least one prior deposit. This is a mandatory anti-money laundering control.
• Withdrawals cannot be processed until all outstanding wagering requirements associated with active bonus funds have been fully met.
• First-time withdrawals from a new account are subject to enhanced KYC review and may take additional processing time.
• Kyoto98 reserves the right to request additional verification documentation for any withdrawal at its discretion.
• Withdrawals that cannot be fulfilled via the original deposit method may be redirected to an alternative verified method at Kyoto98's discretion, following player notification.

7.2 Withdrawal Limits

Standard daily withdrawal limits apply based on VIP tier. Bronze and Silver accounts are subject to daily withdrawal limits of RM 20,000 and RM 50,000 respectively. Gold accounts may withdraw up to RM 100,000 per day. Platinum VIP accounts have no fixed daily limit, subject to liquidity review for very large individual transactions.

Kyoto98 offers various promotional bonuses to eligible players, including welcome bonuses, reload bonuses, cashback offers, VIP loyalty rewards, birthday bonuses, and referral incentives. All bonuses are subject to the following general terms, in addition to any promotion-specific terms published at the time of the offer.

8.1 General Bonus Terms

• Each welcome bonus is available to new players only and may be claimed once per player, household, device, or IP address.
• Bonus funds are credited to the player's account separately from real money funds and are only converted to withdrawable funds upon satisfaction of the stated wagering requirement.
• Wagering requirements state the number of times the bonus amount (or, where specified, the deposit plus bonus amount) must be wagered before withdrawal is permitted.
• Not all games contribute equally to wagering requirements. Live casino games may contribute at a reduced rate (typically 10–20%). Specific contribution tables are published in each promotion's detailed terms.
• Kyoto98 reserves the right to cancel any bonus if it suspects abuse, including but not limited to: low-risk betting strategies designed to exploit bonus terms, use of multiple accounts, or collusion between players.
• Bonus offers cannot be transferred, exchanged for cash prior to wagering completion, or combined with other offers unless explicitly stated.
• All bonus amounts and promotional figures (e.g., "288% up to MYR 2,880") represent the maximum possible award under the stated conditions. Actual bonus amounts depend on the qualifying deposit made.

8.2 Expiry

Bonus funds that are not utilised within 30 days of being credited to the account, or where the associated wagering requirement has not been met within the stated timeframe, will expire and be removed from the account balance. Expiry periods specific to individual promotions will be stated in those promotions' terms.

All bets placed and games played on the Kyoto98 platform are subject to the specific rules applicable to that sport, market, or game type. Players are responsible for familiarising themselves with the relevant rules prior to placing bets or participating in games.

9.1 Sportsbook

• All sports bets are final once confirmed. Bets cannot be cancelled, amended, or reversed by the player after confirmation.
• In the event of a match being abandoned, postponed, or voided, standard industry rules apply. Bets on affected markets will be voided and stakes returned unless otherwise specified.
• Kyoto98 reserves the right to void any bet placed at an erroneous or palpably wrong price due to technical error or data feed failure.
• Mix Parlay and accumulator bets require all selections to win for the bet to return a profit; one void selection reduces the parlay odds accordingly.
• Maximum winnings per single bet event are subject to per-event limits which vary by sport and market type.

9.2 Casino & Live Casino

• All casino and live casino games use certified RNG systems or live dealer environments, as applicable.
• Technical malfunction during a game round voids that round; stakes are returned.
• Live casino game results are final upon round completion. Disputed outcomes must be reported within 24 hours of the session for review.

The following activities are strictly prohibited on the Kyoto98 platform. Engaging in any of the following may result in immediate account suspension, forfeiture of all funds, and reporting to relevant authorities where required by law:

• Providing false, misleading, or fraudulent information during registration or KYC verification
• Registering or operating more than one account on the platform
• Using the platform to launder money or facilitate any other financial crime
• Attempting to manipulate game outcomes through software exploits, VPN circumvention to exploit regional pricing differences, or collusion with other players
• Making deposits using payment methods not registered in the player's own name (third-party funding)
• Using chargebacks or payment disputes as a mechanism to retrieve deposited funds while retaining winnings
• Engaging in abusive, threatening, or harassing behaviour toward Kyoto98 staff or other players via any communication channel
• Accessing the platform from a jurisdiction where online gambling is explicitly prohibited, where you are aware that such prohibition applies to your specific circumstances

11.1 Player Protection Tools

The following responsible gambling tools are available to all registered Kyoto98 players at no cost:

• Deposit Limits: Daily, weekly, and monthly deposit limits configurable by the player at any time.
• Loss Limits: Maximum loss caps over a defined period, which take effect immediately when set or reduced.
• Session Time Reminders: Notifications alerting the player to the duration of their active gaming session.
• Cooling-Off Period: A temporary suspension of the player's account for a defined period (24 hours to 6 weeks).
• Self-Exclusion: A longer-term account suspension (minimum 6 months) for players who wish to take a significant break from gambling. Self-exclusion requests are honoured within 24 hours and cannot be reversed during the elected period.

11.2 Minor Protection

Kyoto98 takes the protection of minors very seriously. Persons under the age of 21 are strictly prohibited from accessing or using the platform. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Kyoto98 and its directors, employees, agents, licensors, and service providers shall not be liable to you for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or in connection with your use of the platform, including but not limited to:

• Loss of winnings or profits resulting from game or system errors, where the error is duly investigated and corrected
• Interruptions in service resulting from scheduled or emergency maintenance
• Any loss resulting from your failure to comply with these Terms
• Losses resulting from hacking, phishing, or other security breaches where Kyoto98 has maintained industry-standard security protocols
• Any delays in deposit crediting or withdrawal processing attributable to third-party payment processors, including but not limited to GrabPay, DuitNow, FPX, or banking institutions

Kyoto98's total aggregate liability to you for any claim arising under or in connection with these Terms shall not exceed the total amount deposited by you on the platform in the 30 days preceding the relevant claim.

All content on the Kyoto98 platform, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, images, audio clips, software, game content, interface designs, and data compilations, is the proprietary property of Kyoto98 or its content partners and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to access and use the platform for your personal, non-commercial use only. You may not reproduce, redistribute, publish, reverse-engineer, scrape, or create derivative works from any part of the Kyoto98 platform without prior written consent.

Kyoto98 reserves the right to amend, update, or replace these Terms at any time. Where changes are material, we will endeavour to provide reasonable notice to registered players via account notification, email, or a prominent notice on the platform homepage. The date of the most recent revision is indicated at the top of this page.

Your continued use of the Kyoto98 platform following publication of revised Terms constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms. If you do not agree with any amendment, you must discontinue use of the platform and may request account closure and withdrawal of your balance, subject to these Terms.

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction under which Kyoto98 holds its international gaming licence. Any dispute arising from or in connection with these Terms or your use of the Kyoto98 platform shall first be referred to Kyoto98's internal dispute resolution team via the live chat or email support channels.

Where a dispute cannot be resolved internally within 30 days of formal notification, the matter may be referred to an independent dispute resolution service as specified under the terms of our applicable gaming licence. Nothing in this clause limits your rights under applicable mandatory consumer protection legislation in your jurisdiction.
